Coconut oil

In our continued health regime to fulfill our target of living to 100 and beyond, we have invested in a jar of coconut oil for frying purposes instead of the less healthy alternatives. It really does go a long way, because it's so expensive that I waited two weeks before I dared to even open it. Today, I stretched to using a teaspoonful to fry our vegetarian sausages, and then cooked our omelette in the same pan without adding any more oil. That very same jar may actually outlive us, even if we do reach the age when we receive an e-visit from the presiding monarch at the time.
